Commissioning

Commissioning is an enhanced quality assurance process for mechanical and electrical systems. Systems designed to meet the indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort standards of today's buildings usually consist of numerous components, subsystems, and controls. Commissioning provides a structured, systematic process to verify that these systems are properly installed, performance-tested, and documented. The commissioning process benefits the building owner by helping to provide systems that perform as specified and intended while achieving the expected energy efficiency.

Dulohery Weeks is a member of the AABC Commissioning Group (ACG) of the Associated Air Balance Council (AABC). Two of our professionals have achieved Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) Certification through ACG. Click on the adjacent ACG logo for more information regarding the CxA designation and the benefits of commissioning.
